|  | A summer program for the kids of Manila Tondo to learn and play the game FutKal. Here we not only teach the game but we also provide lectures that help build their personality and character. These kids have battled life long adversaries, with the introduction of FutKal hopefully this will give them a reason to smile and enjoy and bring light to their life....a taste of a good life. |
After a successful Soccer Mania event with Mcdonalds I'm thankful for having a chance to get a 2 week break to recharge and get back on the road...the journey of a Futkalero "The saga continues". This time it will be nothing like Soccer Mania, where we were very comfortable teaching and promoting the sport inside SM malls. This time its going to be in the unknown streets of Tondo Quezon City. In Brasil the greatest players come from the toughest areas, and Tondo being one of the most reputable cities for its violent stories and crimes I truly believe that if they have more options in channeling their strength and focus into positive outlets like a sport or a game this can improve their everyday living and struggles in life. Not only will this be a new experience for the kids but it would be an eye-opener to all the Futkaleros who will be part of this journey. We will get a chance to see the metaphors of Tondo, it will be much more of a learning experience for us than to them....or maybe the same. So for those who want to get out of their comfort zone and live the daily life in Tondo while teaching Futkal I formally "invite you". You dont have to go through the whole month any of your free-time will do. You are very welcome to stay in the house of Futkaleros @ Quezon City....regardless of all the uncertainties I promise its going to be awhole lot of FUN!!!!! Soldier boys & girls....TARA NA! : )

Yes! For those who want to volunteer and experience the real Tondo come join the Futkaleros will conduct a 1 month clinic introducing & teaching the kids the game of FutKal. "Tondo" known for its violent reputation and breeding grounds of gangsters or warlords....this is probably one of the most interesting Futkal clinic i will experience for this summer. So for those who are game for it...sign up for it. Maximum of 10 volunteers only. Lets prove them wrong about Tondo, lets show them the "other side"...the side where Futkal will grow. TARA NA!

A football event open to all sponsored by Mcdonalds. It will be the following SM Malls. SM Clark Mar 1-2, SM Cagayan De Oro Mar 7-9, SM Bacolod 14-16, SM Baguio 24-26, SM San Lazaro 28-30, SM Fairview Mar31-Apr2, SM Bacoor Apr 4-6. Football activities (juggling,shooting and dribbling) and football games will be played. Winners get prizes and football souvenirs. Hope to see you all there. A yearly event celebrating the month of Brasil, Futkal or the Futkaleros were there to represent what they do best...playing with the ball with some Brasilian tunes. Together with Futkalero Pedro was Sherrif and Hadi, football players who share the same passion and dedication for the game. The event was held in the Glorietta park 3. | | This is our summer clinic program with the Unang Hakbang Foundation were volunteers from all walks of life came together to introduce and promote football to our inspirational kids. This was a 5 week program,at the end we had a celebration/ graduation for the kids. Balls were donated by PFF, Food & Beverages by Rock ED Phils. Thank you for all those who shared their valued time and passion. |

Its is the day were we speak our minds and raise our voices...HUMAN RIGHTS DAY @ the MRT station. Pinoys finest bands playing at all MRT stations (from taft to North Edsa) for a cause ( The 8 Millennium Development Goals) FutKal will be @ the SHAW station spreading the message "Gender Equality" starting at 2pm - 7pm. Ba part of the statistics....see you there! Games, activities and prizes will be given to all who will participate. Dec 10, 2006 (Sunday) mark this date. The launch of Mcdonalds football campaign penetrating all SM branches nationwide targetting kids ages 12 yrs old and under. An event filled with various football activites challenging the kids to put their skills to a test.
